Uncertain how you can be directly involved in the pro-life movement? Not sure how you can help your own community with the time you have available? We can work with your schedule to customize your volunteer experience. |
What is the Gabriel Project? At the core of the Gabriel Project is a Christ-centered one-on-one mentoring relationship between a mother-to-be in the community and a pair of parishioners who are trained Gabriel Angels. These Angels work with those who may be abortion-minded or who may be wondering how they will provide for their baby. The Gabriel Project provides training to equip the Angels so that they feel confident that they are making an impact in the life of the mother-to-be. Volunteer OpportunitiesThere are a variety of volunteer opportunities that support these Gabriel Angels that can fit your time schedule. Opportunities include a prayer chain, working in our room filled with donated baby supplies, serving on our Angel Council which meets monthly to discuss the mothers’ situations, commitment to pray a rosary for our mothers and babies, and more. Please see the contact form for a complete list of opportunities. |
Since revitalizing the Gabriel Project in July of 2017, we have provided continuing support to 22 mothers and a total of 31 babies (some multiples in the same household). |
Who We Are
The Gabriel Project volunteers currently consist of
11 Gabriel Angels, 14 total supporting volunteers, and an email list of parishioners who will aid as needed. The Gabriel Project is meant to be supported by the Muncie pastorate so that these mothers know that they are not alone in helping their entire family thrive.

YOU can make a Difference! |
As a volunteer, you will be helping to directly impact the mothers’ and babies’ lives in the Muncie community, one mother at a time.
Many times these women have little to no exposure to the gospel message. You can be the face of Christ to them. These women are changed by the unconditional love that shines through you.
Many times those in crisis pregnancies feel lost and are without support of their friends and families. Sometimes these women are all alone and not sure how they will take care of their baby.
By participating in this project, you become part of the answer that these women seek when they ask themselves, “How can I possibly keep this baby?” Current Needs (Fall 2021)
Monetary donations may be sent to any of the 3 church offices with "c/o Gabriel Project" included in the address on the envelope. Your support is greatly appreciated! May God continue to bless your giving hearts. How to proceed
